Find out what your recommended calories are (your weight in lbs multiplied by 12) and track your current diet. Don’t change your diet, just maintain it for a couple weeks whilst you track your calorie intake. Once you have found out what the calorie target is for your weight, and you are aware of your current calories you need to lower your current calories to hit the target.

Once you have a calorie target and you are aware of what your calorie target needs to be you can begin to start lowering your calories slowly (week by week) until you have reached your target.
Make sure that you are measuring progress on the scales, and with a measuring tape (measure around your hips, your abdomen, chest, legs, and bum) on a weekly basis. If you’re lowering your calories and sticking to the target then you should find that your weight begins to drop. If your weight isn’t dropping at all (or you’re even gaining weight) then you should consider dropping the calories at a slightly faster rate. Just bear in mind that weight fluctuates, so it won’t drop by the exact same amount every single week.
Have a target weight/size that you want in mind and when you reach this goal you can start to add calories back into your diet. This approach is much more effective than diet plans or some sort of fasting diet because you won’t destroy your metabolism.

If it worked then everyone would be doing it.
