What is the quick weight loss diet plan 2 weeks? And how much weight can you safely lose within 2 weeks? These are very different questions, but both are important if you want to lose weight in a safe way. The experts say that a weight loss goal of 1-2.5kg per week is a safe target, meaning that anyone trying to explain how to lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks is being dangerously cavalier with your health.
The problem is that any diet to lose weight fast is not going to be an effective strategy for permanent weight loss. This is because the drastic measures that would need to be taken (i.e. starving yourself for 2 weeks straight) are not sustainable. You simply couldn’t do it for 4 weeks straight, and definitely not for a year!
Can you show me how to lose weight in 2 weeks?
Yes and no. Yes, it is possible, but it is not the most effective way. Instead, we will look at a long term strategy which will not only teach you how to lose 5 pounds in 2 weeks but teach you how to do it safely.
You need to approach weight loss as a long-term plan, there is no easy weight loss diet but there are effective diets for weight loss.
What is the best diet to lose weight fast?
The best diet to lose weight is the diet that is most likely to last you the rest of your life, there’s no point giving up carbohydrates if you absolutely love bread, pasta, rice, and potatoes. You’ll end up giving in and going on a carb binge. That’s why no crash diet ever lasts over a year. If you want to lose weight you need to troubleshoot your own diet.
Find out what your recommended calories are (your weight in lbs multiplied by 12) and track your current diet. Don’t change your diet, just maintain it for a couple weeks whilst you track your calorie intake. Once you have found out what the calorie target is for your weight, and you are aware of your current calories you need to lower your current calories to hit the target.
Can you give me a quick weight loss diet plan?
It will be quick to create but it will take the time to implement, as explained earlier you are not going to lose 20 pounds in 2 weeks but you can lose 20 lbs in 12 weeks, and keep it off. Once you have a calorie target and you are aware of what your calorie target needs to be you can begin to start lowering your calories slowly (week by week) until you have reached your target.
Make sure that you are measuring progress on the scales, and with a measuring tape (measure around your hips, your abdomen, chest, legs, and bum) on a weekly basis. If you’re lowering your calories and sticking to the target then you should find that your weight begins to drop. If your weight isn’t dropping at all (or you’re even gaining weight) then you should consider dropping the calories at a slightly faster rate. Just bear in mind that weight fluctuates, so it won’t drop by the exact same amount every single week.
Have a target weight/size that you want in mind and when you reach this goal you can start to add calories back into your diet. This approach is much more effective than diet plans or some sort of fasting diet because you won’t destroy your metabolism.
This is a diet to lose weight at an acceptable rate of 2-2.5lbs per week (at the peak of the diet) which means that towards the end of it, you will be losing 5lbs within 2 weeks. What is amazing about this approach though is that it will ultimately lead to you losing much more weight than 5lbs or even 20lbs. Obviously, this is depending on how much you have to lose!
So is this the quickest way to lose weight?
No, if you wanted to do that you could fast for 2 weeks straight whilst drinking green tea and staying in a Sauna all day. That would be the quickest way to lose weight … But it might also kill you! It is not healthy, it is not sustainable, and the results won’t last.
Perhaps you’ve got a wedding to attend or holiday to go to. Maybe you’re fed up with being the fat one in the group. Well, the truth is that not even the most extreme diet in the world will drastically change your physique in 2 weeks, and if there was one it would either be illegal (due to all the deaths) or it would be the most successful and well-known diet in the world!
So use that wedding or holiday as the inspiration to transform yourself over the course of 6 months or 2 years. Not as a dream that can never be fulfilled. Learn how to eat better, get a gym membership and start lifting some weights. Stop trusting people on the internet who tell you that a 2-week course is going to give you a six-pack. If it worked then everyone would be doing it.
You have the capacity to transform yourself into whatever physique you want, be it curvy, lean, bulky and muscle bound, or ripped to shreds. But these changes will take time and effort, and consistency. You just need to decide if 1) The results justify the effort, and 2) whether you have the time and willpower to achieve it.
