If you are looking for exercise advice on which exercises to do, how long each day, and how many days each week to do them, you often get conflicting advice. 

Some weight loss exercise programs say that to lose weight you need to exercise at least 60 to 90 minutes five times a week. Some say 30 minutes three times a week is fine. 

There’s a huge discrepancy there, so how much exercise do you need?  What kind of exercises should you do?

Most fitness experts would agree that if you are an exercise beginner the type of exercise that is best is whatever exercise you’ll do and stick with.  You need to increase your activity level in some way, whether it is walking or taking a kick boxing or yoga class.

Can You Be a Runner?  You see them out in all kinds of weather.  Heat, snow, rain.  Nothing stops runners.  There’s a certain prestige that goes along with running because not everyone can do it.  You may think your one of those who can’t run, can’t jog, and is always going to be in the slow lane at the track.  But you too can be a runner.
