Replacing trigger foods with healthy food snacks is a critical piece of any successful weight loss strategy. Trigger foods like sugary cookies, potato chips and chocolate give rise to sudden increases in your blood glucose levels, followed by a sudden drop in blood glucose which produces endless cravings for more more more.
The easiest way to break out of this vicious cycle is to replace the trigger foods with healthy popular snacks. Craving control begins with finding foods appealing enough to inspire you to give up your old favorites, and healthy popular snacks can do just that. That’s why we wanted to create a list of healty snacks to help people do battle with their food cravings.
One that we really like is celery sticks with almond butter. This tasty snack can be consumed anytime and, unlike potato chips, you won’t feel the need to keep eating it all in one day until the cupboard is bare.
And of course the almond butter is a good source of protein, while the celery sticks are an excellent source of fiber. It is also a nice crunchy snack, ideal for potato chip withdrawal!
So there, our list of healthy snacks for quick weight loss is begun. Please add your quick healthy snack ideas to the comments section at the end of this post.
Let’s make this page a great resource where people can come and find top healthy snacks for lunch, between meals, or anytime that they find salt, fat or sugar cravings ruling their lives.

I like eating unsalted almonds or walnuts as a substitute for unhealthy snacks.

Great suggestions, I like the idea of combining nut butters with celery sticks. For me the most important thing is to make sure I eat before I go shopping, that way the bad stuff never gets into my house in the first place!
